Shield EU Residential Security Doors

Doors define the character of a building. SKYDAS doors are suitable for all residential, commercial and retail environments, providing the ultimate security solution whilst retaining the character and charm of their surroundings.

Choose any internal or external door design and colour. This provides you with the freedom to match any designed door with the existing interior and exterior. Various colours and accessories are available to create your desired style.

The All Security door range comes in either double or triple glazing meaning that they have excellent thermal properties when installed in your home. Security is not compromised even when very large scale doors are required. Bulletproof glass can be fitted as an extra security option. Our doors are not only strong and stylish, but can also match traditional designs to make sure that your house looks like a home, not a fortress.

Entrance Security Doors

Entrance doors are finished in certified Belgian fibre-board Umidax HLS (12mm thickness). High quality applied paint finishes resist fading to maintain the appearance of your door for many years to come. Decoration panels for apartment doors are usually made of a MDF panel (12mm thickness) laminated by PVC film. Advanced technology allows us to produce for you a durable finish of high quality. A wide range of colours, shades and designs are available.

Residential Install After a Burglary

Following a burglary, this apartment had a temporary door installed by a local locksmith. The dark marks are remains of a forensic examination by the police.

The owner chose the total protection of a Shield level 3 security door. It was produced as an exact replica of the original, but with the added benefit of our ultimate security protection.

In addition we added steel plating to the surrounding wall for additional security with the bonus of additional thermal, sound and fire insulation.

Security Door Installation

Once a All Security survey engineer has established your exact requirements and completed a structural survey and made precise measurements, a team of specialist fitters will undertake the installation work. At the request of the customer, our installation vans can be divested of all livery. To the casual observer, you will simply be upgrading your doors or windows.

Our expert technicians have been installing doors and other security products for ten years. They have been thoroughly trained and certified in all aspects of installation.

The Latest Security Standards

A new classification of reinforced doors based on burglar resistance has now been introduced into Europe. A new standard EN 1627:2011 (security classes RC) has replaced the existing one that was in force since 1999. The old standard (security classes WK) required only one point of the door to be tested for burglar resistance. A tester was free to decide which point on the door they test. The new standard requires testing the whole surface of the door, point by point, every 10 - 20 cm. The test is significantly more rigorous and its duration increased.

The requirements state that the tested points on the door each have to withstand 10 minutes of testing to achieve a security class 4 (RC4). The SKYDAS PREMIUM door withstood a full 77 minutes of attack, which far exceeded the requirements of the test. The new standard made to the testing process: new break-in tools were added, the strength of an impact was increased and higher requirements for the locks introduced. SKYDAS doors were successfully tested and approved to this new standard EN 1627:2011 by accredited laboratories.
